This is the latest and the chance for straight-line winds tomorrow is the biggest concern. Localized flooding is possible. The exact timelines are too early to tell, but mid-afternoon to early evening seems to be the biggest threat Saturday.
No matter what it’s going to be a very windy and very rainy weekend. 1.5-2 inches of rain are expected to fall in most areas of Middle Tennessee.

Tonight
A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday
A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. High near 67. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
