Overnight, Larry has increased in strength even more than yesterday. While still brewing in the Atlantic, the storm has picked up the pace moving NW at 16 mph. The sustained wind speeds are around 90 mph.

As mentioned yesterday, in order for Larry to become a major hurricane, the sustained wind speeds need to exceed 110 mph. By tonight, this may be possible. The National Hurricane Center had a discussion this morning with Larry becoming a major hurricane tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Larry is expected to continue its way into the Bermuda. At the moment there are no hazards or warnings for landfall. However, there is the chance for extreme rip currents.
